Your trigger is exposed in this picture. Is leather the only thing that retains the gun? Or is there a piece of reinforcing plastic in the belt? A 1911 is the most safe gun in type of holster. I have seen a pic of a glock in this type of holster where the trigger was exposed and the gun went off. Luckily on the 1911 you have the thumb safety and grip safety also.
