    yeah, I keep on hearing that. I will eventually have to get a smaller one as well for small work or maybe as a companion to my bruks axe.

    Izula or a 3 are great smaller fixed blades by them

    Hey, StagLefty.... I see you have the DPX H.E.S.T. in your collection. How do you like it? I need to get down to Rapid Fire Bunker soon and pick one up. The little pointy thing on the bottom is the only thing that I'm not sure I'll like.

    I got the HEST when ESEE was still RAT and they worked with DPX until they went their own ways. RAT is etched on the handle pry bar.
    It's a good rugged utility knife. My idea on the "little pointy thing" was that it would encourage me to use that instead of the knife point for prying or digging into something. I have a great collection of knives with broken tips .
    For you beer bottle drinkers the opener comes in handy also.
