    Yup.
This all seems like way to much work. I have been shorted here more than one time from members. I honestly don't think they knew it. I have never once told them or made a big deal. I man up.leave good feedback becuase I truly enjoyed the person and what they bring to the site then move on. Sometimes its not worth it. But I guess it all depends on the person you are.

Now if we were going to meet and I drove a distance and you never showed etc well now we got problems....... GD Armslist

So you guys are both men.. you share the same interests.. just get it figured out. COAR is not a courtroom with a jury and judge. Shit happens.

Oh I have never met Gen D or Glenn

As to the timeframe-a few days to work out an issue is nothing, give it some time.
Is this a willful deception or just a gross misunderstanding?
100 rounds of ammo or 30.00 cash is pretty small potatoes to me as well for a big to do.
Is conducting transactions in this manner acceptable- Absolutley not.
But I dont feel airing dirty laundry publicly is either unless it is a substantial and willful burn job.

    Very valid point Wiggity

    Bottom line-Caveat Emptor

This....you should at the very lleast kept his name out of this thread untill the deal was resolved one way or the other

unfortunately, not every deal goes right. i personally wouldnt have posted this thread here. i probably would have tried to work it out, through email and pm. if that failed i would post negative feedback and a write up, in the feedback section.

If someone uses this place strictly for the trading post and a deal goes bad like this and it isn't made right? good riddance.

On a small deal like this I believe it would have been pretty easy to see that 100 rounds were missing. I am all for trusting other members but I would also take a look at what I am buying and make sure that is what I wanted.

and it sounds like he tried to make it right, waited a decent amount of time to no avail. at least he is warning the rest of us.
All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break em for no one.

If the guy shorted you. You have every right to complain. I am sure he would have if you shorted him $30.

He didn't even check to see if he was buying what they had agreed upon. The only person he should be complaining about is himself for being a dumbass and allowing this to happen when he could have easily prevented the whole situation.

But instead he started a new thread bitching and moaning and pointing the finger over a whole 100 rounds.

I have little patience for people who do stupid shit, blame someone else, and cry about it.

"there's two sides to every story, and the truth is usually somewhere it the middle". I expect that's the case here. I've dealt with Glennski multiple times, and always found him to be honest. This description of events surprises me.

Seems like the feedback forum is the right spot for a beef like this. Something strikes me wrong about posting a personal issue like this. Maybe it's just me.

ONLY a 100 rounds?? It is the principle of the thing!! If we give our word on something, we should make damn sure it is accurate and correct. I guess that's just the way us OLD guys feel and deal.

Ya he should have checked it, but glennski should have too. He admitted he didnt, so he doesn't know how many rounds were there either. If you were shorted 100rds I guess you wouldn't care, I would. People should be able to trust each other on here. It's a shitty situation, who knows if it can be resolved.

Jeff, you are starting to bore the hell out of me:

Not to long ago I told a close friend I wanted a 1000 rounds of 223 ammo. We put together a trade and I got the ammo from him. Since i've been buying selling and trading with him for years now I didn't even look in the box. Soon after I needed some cash for a stock so I listed the ammo. As I told everyone who ask questions about the ammo I wasn't sure what I had other then 1000 rounds wasn't sure of the grain of bullet, wasn't sure of what was brass and what was steel.

So skip forward, met Jeff showed him the ammo, he purchased it. Next morning got text and PM from Jeff it was sent at 1:30am. I responded around 7am.

From Jeff: Hey I counted the ammo 4 times (not 3, please keep your stories straight) there is only 890 (again keep your stories straight) rounds I want my money back....

From Me: Hey sorry about that I had no idea never counted it. I will be more then happy to drive this morning and give you the ammo. Whatever you'd like me to do. Or I will be driving by on Wednesday to go to UT I can drop it off then.

From Jeff: Ok, lets do Wednesday.

So, the Tuesday before I called him and told him I purchased 120 rounds of steel ammo i'd be bringing and he told me he'd rather have the $30, I said fine even though I'd just spend $43 on the steel ammo. I asked him where he'd like to meet and he told me he'd rather have me mail it. I said fine. I put $30 in an envelope put it on the counter and forgot about it. I came home that Sunday which was last weekend found I didn't send it contacted Jeff told him I'd send it in the morning. He did mention he'd be in town and he could meet me. I had a ton or work to do and I told him it if was still ok for me to mail it and he said no problem. So I did Monday at the post office (cant find the receipt, still looking though).

During all this B.S. with Jeff I contacted my good friend and he told me he counted the ammo 2 times before giving it to me and is 100% sure there was 1000 rounds. So when Jeff text me later in the week telling me he didn't get the money again when he should have I started to think he's trying to lie to me again. So I text him telling him that I was done with him. He then called right after, I explained to him he should have gotten the money by now and he'd been lying the whole time. "He then said, why would you send cash in the mail"....at that point we hadn't spoken about how I'd sent the money. So I hung up the phone.

    Jeff:
I don't hide behind the internet, I stand by my words. I've done hundreds of gun deals and have never had a single issue. I WILL NOT do another thing regarding this issue. If I get kicked off this site then so be it. You are a low life pile of crap and I'm done with you.
