You should have made sure of what you were buying before you bought it. That part is your fault. Stop making bad business decisions then crying about it.

I disagree.
A private deal is a private deal and should be kept in private. Keep your beef to PM's and phone calls.
If you want to explain the occurance that is best kept within the confines of the feedback section but only after all reasonable means of solving the issue are exhausted.
As to the timeframe-a few days to work out an issue is nothing, give it some time.
Is this a willful deception or just a gross misunderstanding?
100 rounds of ammo or 30.00 cash is pretty small potatoes to me as well for a big to do.
Is conducting transactions in this manner acceptable- Absolutley not.
But I dont feel airing dirty laundry publicly is either unless it is a substantial and willful burn job.
JMHO
Very valid point WiggityYou should have made sure of what you were buying before you bought it. That part is your fault.

I see you running, tell me what your running from
Nobody's coming, what ya do that was so wrong.
I would like to gear glennski tell his side of the story.
General Disarray you should put together all the pm's and any other conversations between you two. Don't post private info though. That's a big no-no.
If your claim is indeed true and glennski hasn't resolved the situation in a timely manned he should be at a minimum banned from the trading post.
It is a pain but I think you should have sort of checked the round count. 100 rounds is a pretty easy amount to see is missing from the numbers you posted but it doesn't mean he isn't responsible.
If a member (with good feedback) tells me he's selling me a case of ammo I don't feel the need to count the case on the spot before handing over the cash, I give him the benefit of the doubt and trust him. That's the advantage of buying/selling on COAR, it's not Craig's List! You should be able to trust people on here.
GD- With the limited info you provided I would have to side with you. Bottom line: Glennski should've went out his way to make it right since he shorted you, not make excuses and prolong the process. Make it right with 121rds, not 100; or $30 or whatever you two agree on.
I hope things get worked out and I commend you for leaving negative feedback when it was appropriate (assuming the facts as they were given were accurate). I agree that it's a private transaction, but I do not want the same thing to happen to me if that is Glennski's way of dealing with this situation.
but, what if you only use this forum as a trading post? then you are banned from the whole thing.
and come on. a man tells you there is x amount, you take his word for it.
how many people are going to count out a thousand rounds or whatever amount in public, while making a deal? you take the other mans word for it. if he never counted them before selling them as a certain number, then he is wrong.(in that part).
unfortunately, not every deal goes right. i personally wouldnt have posted this thread here. i probably would have tried to work it out, through email and pm. if that failed i would post negative feedback and a write up, in the feedback section.
What would I have done? Probably taken the 100 rounds of steel cased and been done with it.
