Remember, they can only break you if you let them. There is nothing that they will throw at you that is impossible, if you have the will. I know you'll make us proud!

Well, so far so good. The other forum member and I are both still in the game, and we've made it through the worst of it. We only lost about 40 guys in the past week at Cole Range, much less than I expected. We weren't supposed to come out of lockdown for another week, but all of our cadre is gone for the holiday so they had to turn us loose as well, and thus give us out phones in case we need to contact them. Still have another week of suck left, but honestly it sounds kinda fun (8 mile ruck march through waist deep swamp), and then the real fun stuff starts.
Oh and apparently the Surviving the Cut tv show came and did a show on the last class, so look for a Surviving the Cut: RASP 1 airing sometime in the next few months (the tv people said its set to air sometime around August).

Congrats brother. Keep up the hard work! Sounds like you have figured out the mental aspect of these mind fvckers that they try and play! Keep us updated.

For me the mental aspect is the easy part. I'm a stubborn sumbitch and I try to find humor in everything, so it's pretty easy to put up with the mind fvcking. For me the toughest part is going at full throttle all the time physically, but that's where my stubbornness helps.
Honestly I thought Cole Range was kinda fun. Now that said I still never want to see a log ever again.
