I always joke that I wish someone would steal my crap-mobile so it would become their problem. A WRX is a bit different, I hope you find those shit bags and I'll keep my eyes open.

It does suck. Always feel so violated when something like this happens. Fortunately, I have come to learn that a car is just a thing. Things can be replaced. Not the kind of lesson a guy wants to learn at his age I'm sure. Hopefully the insurance will pay it off and he can manage to get something else he will love even more. It was a nice looking ride.

On a side note, I wish someone would steal my truck. It would really help me make up my mind about getting a different one.

A friend of mine had his CTS-V sedan stolen like this - just gone... Thieves were savvy enough to disconnect the Onstar box etc. before moving it so there was no record of the car captured by any Onstar systems. The car turned up in eastern CO after being hooned, so there's potentially hope.

No updates, spoke to the kiddo a while ago. He said the car was backed into the parking space and it was about 15' away from the window. Aint no way it was driven out.
My money says they knew exactly what they were going for and and had dollies for all four wheels, rolled it out and onto a rollback.

If you think it was towed in some form. I may suggest pin pointing routes taken from the area and see if there are camera's on these routes. Gas stations, out door atm's... I don't know... something
