I had/have an '81 Toyota Tercel 2 door sedan. I drove it for 17 years up here and the ONLY snow that ever stopped it was that 4-1/2 foot storm we got in the 90's. I wish I could afford to get it running again. Karl.

Erin, that looks like my fridge when I was a bachelor. Nothing but beer and condiments.

Although I couldn't afford the good stuff you have in there.

The H2 is a Tahoe and the H3 is a Colorado PU platform.

I just shoveled a gap in the snow down the driveway. I'm not going anywhere.

So I changed my flight home three times, and on the last one they said COS was impossible so why not just go to DEN and get a rental car...

So I'm posting here in the YYT airport, looking at the Atlantic ocean. +2C, sun is shining.

Isn't "disaster emergency" redundant? Has there ever been a disaster that wasn't really an emergency, "yeah it's a disaster and all but no hurry in dealing with it its not really an emergency".

Made it back finally - had a nice 12-hr drive up from DFW today.

Taped to my door was a legal-ese document, the apartment assclowns either lost or simply neglected to cash the check I handed to them (in person) back on 26 Nov. Didn't bother to call me in the meantime, just went directly to the paperwork. The whole reason I stay in a fucking apartment is because of frequent work travel - aaarggghhh!

Newfoundland is actually a nice place, I didn't have much time outside of the plant but the folks do not deserve the reputation that most other Canadians give them.
