It is something that has to happen and I feel bad for the families that lose
their homes and possesions, but in the end they chose to live in the mountains
and could have and should have taken better precautions to protect their homes

It's one thing for natural fires to occur. It's another when they're started through the carelessness of stupid people.

Yes...we all choose to live where we do to one extent or the other. But how come no one ever says, "It sucks that your house got broken into but, hey, you chose to live in the city with all the criminals."
