Hey crazy I just happened to log in and this was the top post. Yeah I have it running on Windows 11. You'll need to install the older copy of dotnet, but it walks you through that.

Best thing is, download it and give it a try. It lets you store a few items without registration so you can see it in action.

FYI, your link to "Microsoft .Net 2.0 SP2 Framework" is broken. It might need to be https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/down...s.aspx?id=9834

I really regret not buying this when Chad first came out with it.

By all accounts, this is amazing software for tracking your firearms and ammo.

So, 13 1/2 years later I'm reaching out to Chad to see if I can still buy the software/license.

    Wish me luck.

Hahah so i finally let my domain name expire like 3 days ago. Just don't have the time much anymore to work with it. But tell ya'll what, if you want it, it's free.

Here's how to download and unzip it:

    https://chadamberg.com/wp-content/up...otWorksPro.zip

you just unzip it into like a folder that you have in your Documents folder, and if you use google drive, or OneDrive or whatever, it'd be backed up that way. You can unzip it on a USB stick and keep it in your gun safe. Whatever makes you happy, it's just an .exe file and a folder called SWPData.

I hope it's pretty intuitive. I can't make any changes anymore i don't have the development environment.

    Couple things:
    Windows only, no Mac
It's encrypted hardcore. Good for protecting your stuff... I can't help if you forget the password. If you forget the password, just delete everything in the SWPData folder except the SWPLicense.txt file. Then start over!

If you have any problems let me know here.

Well I dorked up the download the other day. If you downloaded it, and the license isn't working and it shows demo version, the new download now works. Or just go into the SWPData folder, and rename SWPLicense.txt to SWPLicense.key.
