Sorry but I have to call BS on that as a business owner who knows first hand. First off the BBB does not take sides in any dispute they are a mediator. 2nd if you want to be a member your business has to have a clean track record and be in good standings. Last year alone over 1500 businesses in the Denver area were thrown out.

They do not EVER take business's with a bad record as members then make them clean. I am not a member however they call me regularly to try and get me to join. This is because I have a sterling record which is very rare for an auto shop. I am not saying they are the greatest thing since sliced bread but to claim what you did is completely false.
