So had a deal on armslist this week. I posted my G23 on here this week. Had a member want to buy. The same time a CZ that I wanted came up on armslist. Told him the deal that the G23 would be done tonight if the sale went thru. Then I would let him know ASAP on the sale. This was his response to me.....

If your guy on the 23 doesn’t work out, that would also be good, then we could trade.  I will take your word, and will hold you in first position, that is, I would give you first right if another buyer steps up to the plate.  I appreciate your communication.

So.....tonight came. G23 sold and I emailed him within 35 mins to work out a time to meet to do the deal on the CZ. This was his response...

Neal, I know you’re going to be disappointed with the news I have.  A young man from castle rock called me on the cz last night and we got to talking.  Long story short he offered to pay my price on both guns I had for sale, and give the 380 to his wife.  I just couldn’t pass up a sure sale on both.  It was all over by noon.  I apologize Neal, because I think you are a stand up guy, and I had no intention of selling this out from under you.

 I didn't know he had 2 firearms for sale at this time...

So am I outta line for being upset?? It's really not that big of deal money wise, but to me it's the word!

Make a mental note about the seller and move on. Not worth getting mad about for more than a few minutes unless you knew the guy personally.

I don't want it to be a who knows who post. I am saying that the guys here have been way better in the sales dept than anywhere. I think that's cool, cause you seem to be held responsible for your actions here!!....

Hmmmm. Move on and don't worry about it. Make a mental checkmark about the seller and... oh well.

Yup guys I'm over it! Just wanted to pass on my experience. I'll run over to Jensen Arms and get it next week for a few bucks more and put some $ back in the local economy!

Armslist is like my breakfast cereal, if you take out the fruits and the nuts, all you're left with is the flakes...

This place IS top notch and everyone has been true to their word. I had a guy wanting to buy something from me here. It didn't workout, but we had excellent communication, so no feelings were hurt.
