    Default stupid problem

My battle comp 1.5 is completely leaded up I have a ball of led in there to big to roll out of the front.....obviously its pinned on so it cant come out the back how the hell can I get it out...

Bert I have extra room in my barn can I just move you out here for full time fire arms support lol??

Can I coat the muzzle break in something to stop the lead from building up in there maybe have it unpinned an NiB coated??? Or is there an oil I can dip it in before I shoot a lot of 22??? Fwiw this never happened with the other 2 brakes I had on there I'm a little dissapointed that its not more servicable

This is something that definitely needs a picture posted. Have you tried e-mailing Bert ?

What are you shooting through your rifle?

I have been using the BC for over a year and never had this problem.

    You shooting reloads?

Rimfire conversion kit ? Its always a better idea to have a dedicated rimfire upper instead of switching back and forth in one barrel because of the leading issue's .

Search for " the dip " for cleaning suppressor which will dissolve the lead but is toxic stuff when you get done and doesn't play well with some metals .

Take the upper off and soak the comp in a cup of white vinegar. Check every 15 minutes and change out the vinegar. Acetic acid will chemically break down the lead. It will take a bit of work and time, but unless you have concentrated sulpheric or nitric acid and know how to dilute it, its your best shot. No need to dilute the vinegar.
Mom's comin' 'round to put it back the way it ought to be.

Melting temperature of lead is 621.5* F, this may weaken the comp or barrel.

Run some 5.56 through it. Maybe it will just blast the lead out.

A ball of lead rattling around in the comp, I don't think that firing a 5.56 through it is a very good idea..........Unless you like pieces of the comp and or barrel flying around.

My sarcasm would have been more readily recognizable if the darn smiley's were working correctly.

For the record, I wasn't serious.
