Now I have more incentive to get my Concealed weapons permit.

Oh and since I was talking to a guy from Sig, I asked about the 556. He said they had 200 of them being shipped out this week. With more shipping next week. He was a funny guy. He asked if I had a problem paying the fee for the transfer. Of coarse I said no. He said he's still waiting for the guy who says he doesn't want to pay that fee. WHat kind of goof is going to turn down a nice gun prize because he won't pay the transfer fee??? [roll]

    it's a .380 though?
Didn't you ask if you could get it in 9mm or something?

I mean, the biggest problem with .380 is, when the bad figures out that you've been shooting at him, he's going to be really mad. :P

That is really cool BTW, congrats

Thanks for the offer badshot, but I think I'll keep it. lol

All I do wallary, is gave up watching t.v. I still listen to the shows, and have a few I'll sit and watch, but I just spend that time finding and entering the online sweeps. onlinesweepstakes.com is one of the places I go to find them. An online buddy gave me a years membership there and it's very helpful to keep track of what I've entered, how many times, and it gives me an extra 1,000 to enter. But the free membership still has around 4,000 you can enter. My only trick is I only enter for stuff I'd like to win. And only from companies I buy from or would buy from. I'd find it hypocritical to win from a company I would never do business with. And I beleive in the karma thing. Oh also I won't enter from a company that looks shady or I've never heard from because I don't want a ton of spam. I do use a seperate email account for sweeping, so I don't have a ton of trash to go through to find real emails.

You're correct johnT. It's a .380 this month, plus the jacket. I did consider for a second to ask if he'd do a trade, and keep the jacket, but give me a bigger caliber, but I really want that jacket. Their website said it's $300 and has 2 special pockets for carrying, and will accomodate a larger gun. The .380 may be the right size to get the wifey to start shooting. She shot my 9mm for the first time at the pumpkin shoot, and it scared her abit. WHen they have this months contest up and running I'll post it here. Maybe someone from here will win the next gun.

And thanks guys! Good start for the year.

p.s. if I used the .380 for carry and actually had to use it ever, I'd just aim for balls. Even a .380 to the balls would stop the bad guy. [roll]

    &@^$%!
My bud from work and I both enter the Sig drawings every time. That jacket is sweet. Wanted it.

Enjoy. Very cool that a member of this group snagged the prize.

The P232 is a big pistol for a .380. It would be a great pistol for the wife to learn with.

    Congrats on the win!

    thanks
Just keep entering it. I was really surprised how many people on the sweeps forum said they really want to win the monthly Sigs sweep. I thought it was mostly fluff bunny, liberal housewives entering sweeps, but there are quite a few people that entered for the gun and jacket from that website. I've been entering every month for like 2 years to win the Davidson's gun gallery sweep, and have never won that yet.
