Im uninsured except for catastrophic, Ive was going to a cash only urgent/quick care off of lemay and 14. They were reasonable, i fell on snow this winter while walking the pup and sliced my leg open on a sharp edged rock. You can do a lot with duct tape but stitches are nice ifs it 4 or 5 inches long. I think it was $150 total to stich me up. I dropped in there last week to see about a refill on a prescription. New name now they take insurance. They wanted omost as much to refil the script as the old place charged for sutures! This system is f####. Bill is $1000. Insurance company gets a discount and pays $500 on that bill but you got to pay $1000 if you are a individual. Gotta retain a lawyer along with your insurance payment to get them to pay.

So i figure i should figure out where I will go if injured now that my cash urgent care has been assimilated. Any one know any cash only urgent care facilitys in Fort Collins? Sure wish it was legal for the vet to work on me. woof sniff.
