Modern guns just do not discharge when dropped. They don't discharge unless you're futzing around with it and you pull the trigger.
Who said it was a modern gun?

Doesn't everyone mow w/ their gun? I know I do.

Seriously, I have. Not so much intentionally. I just carry pretty much all the time and it's there when I go to mow.

Yep, that's how I rusted my gun.

Same here, the only two places you'll find me unarmed are in the shower or in bed (and even then, in both places it's in my pants on the floor just a few feet from me).

Its not a matter of paranoia or any silly BS the antis come up with, its just easier.

I carry 24/7/365 because I can't predict WHEN I might need my gun ... if I could do that I wouldn't ever need one.

wow, the killer concrete strikes again.

now what if it was a revolver or a 1911, he drops it on the hammer hard enough to pull the hammer back and strike the primer with enough force to discharge the weapon.

When will we have better sidewalk regulation? Who will think of the childrens?!?

Seriously though, mowing your yard is dangerous. If you live in the Fort Collins/Loveland area I do mowing, trimming & aerations so let me do the dangerous work for you. It will seem like a bargain when your neighbor shoots his dick off trying to mow and save a few bucks.
