Her: "How much was that gun?" (new XD)
Me: "$500"

Her: walking around the house for 2 days pissed off....

Tuesday, email from Discover about a "larger than usual charge on the card" or something like that
Her text: "How does $500 = $680???"
My text (clarifying): "Technically, you asked how much I paid for the gun, not how much I spent at the store"
(crickets)

Like I'm not going to buy ammo too... But now I'm in trouble (again... even worse than when I came home with 2 M44's).
On the plus side, that XD is sweet...

Don't usually use the Discover for things like this and I had no idea that there was a limit that they'd contact you about if you crossed it.
