    Default I'm in Trouble

So the conversation went like this:

    Sunday
Her: "How much was that gun?" (new XD)
    Me: "$500"

Her: walking around the house for 2 days pissed off....

Tuesday, email from Discover about a "larger than usual charge on the card" or something like that
    Her text: "How does $500 = $680???"
My text (clarifying): "Technically, you asked how much I paid for the gun, not how much I spent at the store"
    (crickets)

Like I'm not going to buy ammo too... But now I'm in trouble (again... even worse than when I came home with 2 M44's).
On the plus side, that XD is sweet...

Ha, easier to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission
But a Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty, once lost, is lost forever.

Man, rookie mistake. Never pay with a card your wife is going to see. Now it is going to cost you double. She is gonna want a bunch of clothes or a new car.

Just talk about it for six months to soften her up. Eventually she will tell you to just buy it and shut up. My modus operandi.

I pay cash and 1/2 the shit i have is for her guns & ammo habit. Never has she complained about buying, EXCEPT when i i was unemployed for 3 months. Then toys were not on the radar.
