    Default concealed carry permit...

    so i recently applied for my permit and was told to expect it in the mail in about 7-10 weeks. i was looking thru the sight and noticed some have received it in as little as 4 weeks. i was just wondering if anyone got one recently and how long it took. thanx

    It depends on which county you applied in.

    I see you are in the Springs.....

    In Larimer county, Fort Collins, it took 78 days for me. I've had it now for about a yr and half.

    I applied in late August last year and got it sometime in November. Don't remember exact dates but it was pretty close to the 90 days. Sorry, wish I could tell you it will be tomorrow.

    It took about 7 weeks for me to get my CHP from El Paso County.

    I applied for mine 2 days after redeployment(Arrived Tuesday applied Thursday) and got it in less then 2 weeks back in 2009.

    Couple years ago took me about 4-5 weeks in El Paso if I remember right, but it was exactly as long as they told me.

    Close enough,Came today! Exactly 30 days out
