I'm pissed that at age 17, I was told by my Marine recruiter that I would not pass the physical part!! I passed all other tests with A+ grades. But too many broken bones the Marines would NOT take me!!

He said I could go into the Army no problem, Navy for sure, but the friends were going into the Core!! I said pack sand!

Now I'm my own!! Willing to take on any enemy that tries to F-with the USA!! No matter what!! S*it hits. Lead flyin!!

I as well, but I would like to think they mean just as much to me as they do one who has served.
I have always felt quite strongly of both.

Not all who take that oath do it in the way you suggest. I was discharged in 98, took a similar oath as an LEO, now Im a Graphic designer and Range safety officer. To suggest that none of these young men took the oath meaning that first and foremost they are to protect and defend the constitution is patently false. Sure some will follow orders blindly but many of our men in uniform would and technically could refuse to follow any order which violates the constitution they swore to uphold and defend, I myself take it quite seriously and especially the foreign and DOMESTIC part. I still believe our constitution when not being twisted is the single greatest document a group of men ever envisioned. Now if we would've only left it alone.

So you're getting out the Republican vote, I take it, or are you preaching sedition? It's so hard to tell without the sedition smileys available.
