Default Should I just go ahead and say something?

So before the crash, I had brought up an issue I have with the gal that works at the office for us. Okay, she's a hard worker and really pulls her own weight, and seeing how my boss (dad) has never fired anyone before this is kind of a strange place. For one, she's really stupid- a couple weeks ago she asked me what (spelling it out phonetically how she said it) a "Nazz-eee" was (she meant Nazi but didn't recognize the word at all)... facepalm. But I digress, her stupidity is driving me nearly to the point of insanity. Here is issue #1: Now, sometimes this affects work, but most of the time it just is a minor annoyance that will hopefully be fixed this week when we get Comcast internet. She listens to streaming radio from whatever alt rock/smooth rock (the stuff middle aged women listen to) station in Denver she likes... KOSI 101? Well, as some of you more interweb savvy folks know, streaming video and/or music slows your bandwidth down and makes the internet go slooowwww. She has it going all day, at barely audible volumes so the music itself is not annoying, but the internet gets slowed down and on top of it, the stupid bitch complains when the internet slows down! WTF Batman!? She always says how slow it gets at times and on more than one occasion I've told her that it's because of her internet radio stream that slows it all down. She tries to argue or whatever, but never really sees that SHE is the cause of this problem. I've told her several times as nice and tactful as possible but today I'm trying to study for a test and if the page takes 2min to load, or fails to altogether, I get frustrated. I'm about to lose my cool and blow up on her. Advice please! And let's refrain from the here we go again bs, I need actual usable advice...

A little- we share a lot of the load here at work so it's not terrible... and hell no, she's chunky and pretty freaking ugly. You couldn't drink her cute.

Where did she receive her advanced education? From which graduate program did she matriculate? How many neuro-surgeries are you performing on a weekly basis at your work facility?

I must be a horrible, selfish, sorry excuse for a man... I've been absolutely convinced, on more than one occasion, that a particular person is worthless. I'm still pretty sure of that opinion.
I guess if you consider someone's "value" to be forcibly instilling patience and tolerance on everyone around them, then sure, they have value. I can relate to the OP.

My advice to him is to flat out tell her that it's her own fault and to close that dang radio website so all of your internet speeds back up.

Well if it's at different times of the day I'd say not to blame the streaming radio.. perhaps you should look at how bandwidth works... it's not limitless. The more people hitting various servers, going through switches, creates a traffic jam of sorts.. things slow down.

We probably have 50+ people here at the office streaming.. we have dual T1s.. and it gets slow at times.. but it's not the streaming.

when there is a high demand on other servers it's not always your connection..

Seriously, Ronin it's your dads business. Not your place.. deal with it and growTF up. Posting it all over the web.. let's just hope she doesn't find it. Your dad will be writing a check.

Well considering we only have 3 computers on the network... and today the boss is out so only 2 are being used, and my study site and here (study site about 90% here 10%) aren't pulling too many bytes... But I understand how bandwidth works. You're probably right, not my place, but next time she complains about the speed I'll tactfully explain [again] that she is not helping the situation with that radio site... I like the idea of getting her a small radio though!

Sorry, let me rephrase, you can drink her cute, but you can't drink her skinny... That Beerfest movie was full of shit.

    No it's not. So sorry

I agree with the solution to tell her to bring her own music- we only allow people to bring their own iPods and listen to them (via headphones or their own iPod decks).
You may not be able to convince her otherwise...
