I rarely drink alcohol any more but I went looking for JW Dundee's Honey Brown Ale @ 3 different liquor stores yesterday. I found it @ 2 places, but they only had cans so I passed on it. I was sort of looking forward to enjoying a smooth ale with today's dinner. Looks like it'll be Dr. Pepper for me today though.

I guess I've never actually checked this thread.

I have a small group that does whiskey tastings a few times a month. At least we try to do it a few times a month. People bring in interesting things so others can sample them. We don't get drunk, the whiskeys tend to be expensive enough that it would be rude to sample enough to get lit.
It's been a great way to try a lot of different whiskeys at a relatively small cost. I bought a bottle of 9 year redemption for the group to try recently. It is darned good. I'm having a little of that tonight.

I found this bottle at my in-laws after my father in law passed. My mother in law said take it was probably a gift from a client. Can?t bring myself to open it. Going to have to wait for my kids wedding or college graduation which is many years down the road
