Today was a great last day of the month.

Finally got a hold of some Buffalo Trace. There has been a drought up here. Now all is right with the world.
Did a side-by-side with some Ezra Brooks (80 proof blended whiskey) and Buffalo Trace (90 proof straight). No comparison at all. Like night and day. BT killed it with flavor, balance, punch, you name it.

It's surprisingly good. The stout flavors come through, not as strong as I would like but it's a good buy at $30 a bottle.
