Just picked up this month's lottery bottle. Old Forester "Idaho Bourbon Lovers".

According to the clerk a group of bourbon enthusiasts across the state got tired of never winning a bottle in the Pappy Van Winkle lottery that's held every year. So, they got together and with the help of the state liquor office got to pick a barrel of this OF bourbon. That's how they got the special label. Whether or not that's the real story? Anybody's guess.

I've entered the lotto for a bottle of Highland Park "Full Volume". Not sure I'm a scotch fan...we'll see. Not something I'd normally buy.

Yeah, I bought the HP12 on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. I'm going to have to start educating myself on Scotch to see where to go from here.

This stuff is my favorite. I only get it when I'm in Nebraska. Supposedly there are like three liquor stores in CO that carry it, but I've never seen it.
