From a guy who has spent years saying he doesn't like IPA's, this stuff is downright fantastic! As is regular Fresh Grind from the same brewery.

You?re tempting me to try some of those. I typically don?t care for IPAs either.

I like IPAs with "hazy" or "juicy" in the name as they are like a wheat or very fruity respectively. The Rupture (fresh grind) and Hammer Chain (fresh grind double IPA) have not so subtle notes of deeper flavors that are very pleasing to the pallet. Regular IPA that is just "hoppy" is pretty boring.

If you like the East Africans, I can strongly recommend Huckleberry's Phantom Limb blend.

Sounds like you read it, but WSJ had a blurb about Vietnamese coffee.. last week? Can't find right now.

    Internet photo.

This stuff was on display at my local place. It's trash. Avoid. It doesn't taste like chocolate, or peanut butter. Just sickly sweet.

Now this is good. Collaboration between Ecliptic and Firestone. It's great. Hazy like an unfiltered wheat. 8%. Good to go.

Oh that looks interesting, Irving. Is the bird dog praline like anything you’ve had before or can you describe it at all?
