I read up a little on Boathouse Distillery, and apparently they get casks from the south then finish the bourbon here. I thought it reminded me a little of the likes of Elijah Craig and Evan Williams Single Barrel......wonder if it's a coinkidink.

Picked up a bottle, of this Longmont creation, and have to say it's not bad. Pretty good in fact. Sweet and mellow, with some smoke. I'd buy another bottle.

Ah Pook said it had some smoke. When I opened the bottle my smoke detector went off. If I had started drinking whisky with this, I probably would have stopped.
