...and I was joking about the Bristol Mass Transit. I'll venture to call it a great session beer.

Made the pilgrimage last week. Really good bourbon and my 2nd favorite gin. The tequila gold was good too. Josh is rockin' it!

I decided to try Tin Cup and I am woefully underwhelmed. I'd much rather have Wild Turkey 101 or Buffalo Trace.

Went to a charity auction yesterday at Arapahoe Park and picked up a tour and tasting at the Breckenridge Distillery. Get a couple pieces of glassware and a bottle of bourbon and vodka from them. Wife and I will head up in the summer and probably spend a night up there, make a weekend trip of it. Never tried their bourbon, and I'm interested in seeing where it's made.

Can someone educate me on brandy? I had some for the first time and never realized it tasted very much like whiskey. Where should I start?

    it's not a whiskey, it's a wine.

Start with a glass rather than straight from the bottle

    usually room temp (72 degrees)

chilled shot to help with coughing

be careful, it's a ninja (veddy veddy shneeky)

Colonel EH Taylor Small Batch. Now that's a damn good whiskey. I'm enjoying it neat and it's not disappointing at all. I read somewhere that a good whiskey will make you feel like you're getting a massage from the inside out. CEHT is definitely doing that.
