I haven't wheeled much... been a little over a year now owning a Jeep. Still trying to get over that awkward feeling of leaning over so much flexing the jeep and stuff. Aw man... fun all around for me for sure. My buddy is on the same boat. It's truly a wonderful thing.. this Jeep thing/wheeling.

I bought my jeep last May. This has been my first year wheeling as well. I've definitely learned a lot so far. I'll hopefully get some armour added before this season gets going good. I'm going to spend a week in Ouray at the end of July. That's going to be a blast!

That will be fun! I've seen Youtube vids from Teraflex and Wayoflife... Place looks amazing.
My rig isn't quite equipped to tackle'em hardcore rock crawling obstacles (Long list of parts needed... as with a handful of us got, lol)... right now, I'm good for venturing off into the woods... with a few flexing here and there. We all have a lifetime to build our rigs up...

Your Jeep will do just fine in Ouray. With the exception of maybe Poughkeepsie gulch your Jeep will run all of the trails. The only reason I make an acceptation On Poughkeepsie is there is one obstacle that can test a drivers ability. The rest of the trails are just a drive in the woods. Just like you like.

All I have so far is a 2.5" BB lift, 33" tires and sway bar quick disconnects. They've gotten me thru everything so far. It's definitely going to take some time to built it to where I want to be.

I've had a few jeeps over the last several years or so and it seems like all I do is work on them. I've been working on my current one for well over a year. 2004 Rubicon with a 360 Magnum conversion. Haven't had much time to take it out to play. Rainbow falls is a fun place to goof off though. Grew up in woodland and spent a lot of time in those mountains.

Sounds like a bad ass build.... I guess the real trick is to find more play time than work on'em time

How cool is that though...? Growing up and having the opportunity to spend a lot of time up there. It sure has to be a lot of fun. My first time up there.. and it was a treat!

We spent a lot of time in hackett and long water gulch up in divide. Then after the fire it was closed for a long time. They have opened some of it back up and maybe more by now. Haven't been up there in a while. As for the jeep I'm on the fence about getting rid of it. Its been sitting in the garage for far too long just collecting new parts and at this point I kinda want to focus on other hobbies. We'll see though.
