All I have so far is a 2.5" BB lift, 33" tires and sway bar quick disconnects. They've gotten me thru everything so far. It's definitely going to take some time to built it to where I want to be.

Mars is entirely inhabited by robots.
I've had a few jeeps over the last several years or so and it seems like all I do is work on them. I've been working on my current one for well over a year. 2004 Rubicon with a 360 Magnum conversion. Haven't had much time to take it out to play. Rainbow falls is a fun place to goof off though. Grew up in woodland and spent a lot of time in those mountains.
Sounds like a bad ass build.... I guess the real trick is to find more play time than work on'em time
How cool is that though...? Growing up and having the opportunity to spend a lot of time up there. It sure has to be a lot of fun. My first time up there.. and it was a treat!
Whore monger Mike!
Slinging coconuts since ever since...
We spent a lot of time in hackett and long water gulch up in divide. Then after the fire it was closed for a long time. They have opened some of it back up and maybe more by now. Haven't been up there in a while. As for the jeep I'm on the fence about getting rid of it. Its been sitting in the garage for far too long just collecting new parts and at this point I kinda want to focus on other hobbies. We'll see though.
Easter Jeep Safari registration is open. I logged on at 10:00am sharp, and took the last slot for one of my trails. They're filling up fast this year. Anybody else going?

Have any links/info on what is opening back up? Went there before the fire and really missed the area when it was closed. It would be nice to go back.
I'll be there two weeks before Big Saturday. As usual, wild horses could not drag me to EJS.
Have fun.

Hackett is open to the river and Longwater/Metberry are open to the county line. Pretty much all the barricades that were in place have been removed by someone so the latter 2 are well traveled to the river as well. I run that area about once a month or when weather allows.
Right now there is probably 6-12" of snow on most of it.
Metberry is open to the river. It was the first of the trails to be opened all of the way. Hackett has now been opened to the river as well. There is still debate whether the other side of the river will ever open again, but for now it is still closed. Call Predator 4WD if you ever have any questions as to the current status as they are still the main POC for these trails.
