The buggy is badass but tearing shit up for the sake of tearing shit up is rather douchey.

I wonder if it has a low gear? Seems like half that stuff 10mm-man could do just by taking it easy. That dude was just launching all over the place. He didn't even make it up some of the stuff because he wasn't in control at all. Seemed like he was getting used to the 4 wheel steering as well.

^ This. Cool build. Douche-hole driver. Reminds me of that Icelandic buggy rail dragster stuff.

No doubt, the newer (read last 10 years) Jeeps/Rubis are very well built and far more capable than previous models out of the box, and a rear locker is easily the best bang for the buck when it cames to increasing your trail options. After that, it's taller tires which necessitate the lift. Winch is not needed, but nice. Decent winch points are more important. Above all else, a decent driver with a can do attitude who chooses decent lines and has a couple of friends to wheel with is your #1 asset.

Edit - Spring Creek looks cool. I'm airing down a bit next time.

I've decided I can at least spend the money to install an Aussie Locker in the rear of my truck.

We'll see what this spring/summer brings. I've got some other stuff I need to fix (maintenance) on the truck first.

Let's do it in a run in a few weeks! I am going to get a truss welded to my front end in a couple weeks. T-Giv how are the brake lines coming?
