Most of the "convert you're rifle to a bullpup" stock kits suck even worse than factory bullpups. It's simple physics ... add a bunch of long levers and such and you just can't get as smooth, light and crisp a trigger as you can where the trigger is only a fraction of an inch from the sear.

Also part of the point of a .308 rifle is long range precision ... need a good trigger for that.

I love the idea of bullpup rifles ... I really do. But every one I've shot (couple of AK conversions, a Muzzelite Marlin and an AUG) all had mushy triggers that reminded me of a weed eater, not a rifle. If a bullpup conversion has a decent trigger I'm there.
First off, your Timney trigger, isn't that great. It's great for one you can buy, but it isn't that great.... Send it to BP and let him show you what I mean. Second, I don't know about Ak conversions, never had one, never worked on one. Your Aug however can have a great trigger. The trick to a bullpup is getting rid of the slop in all of the connections, closing some of the gaps, polishing, and just making sure the parts fit tight and move nicely. It can also be accomplished in the FS2000's. It's just time and money, or if you can do it yourself, time. Look at all the hand guns out there with trigger bars, same damn thing, just shorter. You can get an amazing trigger out of an Hk or Beretta. I'm not saying that they are as great as a well done 1911 trigger, or in a rifle's case, a nice 700 or something, what I'm saying is that you can make them pretty damn good with time, or money.
