While I am sure that when you read your posts in your head you can hear the sarcasm and the humor you intend to express, with out using smilies it really doesnt come across in the posts. I fail on this every once and a while myself, mostly on this board because we really dont have good expressive smilies.

Well... actually yes. It is the fun of the internet. I argue in real life too, because that is fun as well. I would say half of the things I argue for or against online I do not even agree with. But to know the oppositions argument you should be able to argue their point just as well as your own. It is a good way to learn what the other side thinks.

That said, you have not served and no offence you really do not understand that the military is not "real life" like you say. Trying to make it like real life is not a good idea, because that is not conducive to the long term health of our guys in uniform. That is the point I am trying to make. Women in uniform have done some great things for this country and I do not want to take away from the ones who contributed, but as a whole it has been a lowering of standards and a relaxing of regulations that I see.
