Where did you think it was made?

Even so I still love mine. First gun I purchased myself with my own money when I was 16. Had it for 20 yrs now.

Some of their over/unders are made in Japan as well. Just thought I would point that out now so you wouldn't be disappointed later on.

I am stationed in Japan and have found quite a few miroku made A5's and such. I found a Ithaca o/u that was made in Japan. I think by SKB. I picked up a miroku o/u that was not an export model. 150000 yen new (1500 at 1to 1 exchange) and paid $400. Now new it would be $1700ish. I pondered an A5 before I go.

A lot of arms companies have friearms made in other countries or just straight up rebrand firearms. The XD series by Springfield is made by HS Produkt a firearms company in Croatia.

If I'm not mistaken Brownings have been made in the Miracle Arms Factory in Japan for several decades now. They are very well made shotguns and are one of the more popular brands at my local shotgun club. I wouldn't hessitate to purchase anything made at Miracle.

exept for the superposed that are high dollar and made in Belgum most browning shotguns are made in japan and are great guns, i shoot a New style BT-99 for competion trapshooting and it holds up good and i have put 10,000 puls rounds through it with out issue as have many i shoot with that shoot brownings, i had a BPS 10 ga that i regret selling that functioned awesome even in harsh conditions. I do love American or european made guns. but the brownings are top notch even the japan ones
