I have never figured out why people from one state, with very different laws, get all worked up over how guns are bought and sold in another state, with very different laws.
If you don't like the laws where you live, try to change them, move, or deal with it.
We have had the BoS discussion here on this board. IMO, the seller calls the deal and if a buyer accepts, then the deal gets done. No one else's business as long as nothing illegal takes place.
Besides that, NY state, especially upstate is much different than NYC. I don't rant about Mayor Bloomberg, because he isn't one of my elected officials. If Bloomberg chooses to spend his taxpayer's money on targeting people outside of his jurisdiction, then he can justify that to his taxpayers.
I would guess that if you are a gun owner in NY state, you would be envious of the freedom we enjoy in Colorado. The problem is the gun owners in NY state do not seem to out vote the gun control/anti-gun crowd in NY state.
Yet another reason to enjoy living in Colorado.
