Its right tool, for the job. I'm positive some of you think driving a nail with a big rock from the back yard is a cheaper and just as good as a hammer. Just don't look at the drywall afterwards.
Most of the time there is more than one 'right tool for the job'.
You use a hammer to hang sheetrock, I'll use a clutched screwgun. I'm not gonna get angry if you dent the walls with the head of the hammer a bit.
