    if an obama supporter brings up race when you bring up policy does that not make the obama supporter a racist ?

    The true racist is typically the one who capitalizes on it or uses it to further their agenda.

    But in this case Alex it means that they are ignorant of facts and do not have an intelligent response.

    No. The mention of race no more makes someone racist than the mention of guns makes someone anti gun...which would be an issue around here. Alxone- you may be able to look past race and consider it a non-issue on most political points, but many cannot. I think that is why it seems to come up so often.

    if one is a true american race should not factor concerning public policy (imho)
