Default Guns you were glad you sold

The thread about guns you regret selling inspired me to post this. If you ever had a gun you were glad you got rid of, tell us about it.

Mine was probably a tie between an early TEC-9 and a Taurus revolver in .357 magnum.

The TEC-9 was pretty much useless since I have never done any "drive-by shooting".

The Taurus was dangerously out of time and would drop the hammer between rounds when shooting double action. It went back to Taurus for repairs three times under the lifetime warranty and still wasn't right.

Both of my Springfield 1911's, most unreliable pistols I've ever owned, they wouldn't even feed jello, let alone hollow points. My Springfield XD's (both of them) and my Springfield M1A ... Springfield can kiss my shiney metal ass!

Both Beretta's that I've owned, I think Beretta is Italian for "mile long trigger pull".

That's funny. The M1A/M14 is probably the most reliable, accurate, battle rifle ever made. I also have a Springfield 1911 that I would put against your handgun any day of the week for reliability.

I didn't say yours were junk, I just said the ones I had were. The stainless 1911 I had would jam about every 3rd round (bought brand new), the parkerized one would only jam about 1 round every other mag. All of these were around '05 and '06 and '07, not sure if they just had a bad few years or what, but I'll never own another springfield.

That being said, my dad has had a springfield 1911 since I was a little kid, and he never cleans it, literally. I cleaned it for him once, and that thing has never had a problem once.

    Default Amt

AMT Hardballer. Worst gun I ever owned. I eventually traded it for one of those 8mm camcorders, never used it, gave it to my sister in law and I KNOW I got the better part of the bargain.

The guy I traded it to traded it and $400 for a S&W .45 auto. This all went down in 4 days in 1996.

What a POS the AMT is. Some will tell you that they are collectors items. BS on that, you could lose your life if trusted to a AMT.

Anything Century Arms imported and I stupidly bought or inherited.

Poor build quality cheap parts, sheesh............

The other one was a .45 ACP carbine with a scope I inherited, not sure what the purpose of that was.

Should have a thread of "Firearms I wish I would have never gotten rid of." I have a lot of those.......................
