Both of my Springfield 1911's, most unreliable pistols I've ever owned, they wouldn't even feed jello, let alone hollow points. My Springfield XD's (both of them) and my Springfield M1A ... Springfield can kiss my shiney metal ass!

Both Beretta's that I've owned, I think Beretta is Italian for "mile long trigger pull".

That's funny. The M1A/M14 is probably the most reliable, accurate, battle rifle ever made. I also have a Springfield 1911 that I would put against your handgun any day of the week for reliability.

I didn't say yours were junk, I just said the ones I had were. The stainless 1911 I had would jam about every 3rd round (bought brand new), the parkerized one would only jam about 1 round every other mag. All of these were around '05 and '06 and '07, not sure if they just had a bad few years or what, but I'll never own another springfield.

That being said, my dad has had a springfield 1911 since I was a little kid, and he never cleans it, literally. I cleaned it for him once, and that thing has never had a problem once.
