Why couldn't you just replace the whole fire control system? I swapped out all the plastic interiors and kept the 5.45x39 spring from the upper set I purchased and it works just fine on my LW15 lower.

I guess you could I switched to mill spec lower and pws buffer tube and geissle trigger in mine. My friend that has two of the huldra piston uppers in the 556 with the lw15 lowers did just that he switched all the plastic lpk with metal and is over 600rds without a problem. And my buddies dad that has one of my lw15 lowers hasn't had any problems with it on a rra upper 556 upper. Guess I just had bad luck but I would at least switch the fire control group.

Do you use a pmags or a 5.45 mags?
I've heard a lot of FTF's related to the magazines

I had two first gen pmags work perfectly. But others then those two specific mags no other mags I have tried work. Other gen 1, gen 2, lancers. I could not bring myself to cutting up a window one to try it. So I went to cproducts mags now and I just make sure the feed lips are the same. That was the only problem I have had with the cproducts. One side of the lip on one mag was a lil to high. Bent it down to match the other and now flawless. So one lil tweek to one mag and other 34 work fine. I plan on just sticking to the cproducts then messing around with others.

With the piston system I was getting bolt bounce back giving me soft strikes. So switched to the stiffer flat wire buffer spring and now works fine with my giessle trigger. For my non piston one I have not had any problems with just running a wolf powerspring in it.
