    Exclamation Venus Transit Tomorrow

I know it's a late posting with the site going down soon.

For anyone in the Littleton area interested in viewing the Venus transit tomorrow, I will be in the part directly south of Bemis Library with my telescope. It starts just after 4:00 pm and goes thru sunset, so I will be there for a while, weather permiting.

Feel free to bring kids. I'll be there with mine.

It's getting cloudy, but I can see thru some clouds. Hopefully it will clear up some. Again, everyone is welcome to join us.

Took a quick couple of photos, this one is probably my best. Could use some photoshop touchup and sharpening.

Also uploaded my only picture of the solar eclipse on 5/20/12. It was a quick snapshot taken in Albuquerque when I convinced my Fiancee to let us stay an extra 5hrs on her Graduate School Graduation Celebration Trip.

eta: And yes, those are sunspots that you can see in the venus transit photo.

Yep. I caught the beginning of it and then only occasional looks for the next 2 hrs before packing it up.
