    Default M1A Camo Stock

    Getting some info here.

If I have a M1A I want to put a Camo stock on, wouldn't it be cheaper to send in the original stock to be finished vs buying one? I saw some prices on the web for M1A camp stocks and ouch!!! I'd think Duracoat would hold up well. I'll have to find out of the original is wood or synthetic, it's not my rifle.

I got a inexpensive GI stock from Freds and used the milspec paint I had and painted it.

the only picture handy at the moment is this old breakfast pic from ARFCOM..

This is me with Mine, I purchased the stock about 5 years ago from an ad in Shotgun News for about $30, all hardware included. Synthetic stock.
