A small drop of blue Loctite on the threads will help "muddy up" the threads
and help prevent unscrewing but not secure it so that you cannot remove it.

they were right about being able to remove it but the effort was way to much. it took a propane torch, two strap wrenchs, and a heck of alot of swearing. thanks for all your help. i am now on the that is a dumb idea bandwagon.
they were referring to your flash hider not your suppressor.
if the f/hider comes loose you might get baffle strikes.
im fairly sure they were talking about the suppressor hrere is what i emailed them

just fired my halo for the first time. i hand tightened it as good as i
could. i fired one 30rd mag. it was wat to hot to touch so i waited for it
to cool and checked the tightness. it was one full turn loose. should i put
it on with a thread locking agent like locktite or use one of those strap
wrenches to keep it from coming loose?
