Heard on the news that this is the coldest, with the most snow on the ground, that this state has had in 100 years. Not sure if it's true, wasn't around 100 years ago.

I was in Portland this week and it was 52 and sunny the whole time.

When I was in Orlando for SHOT it was 78 when I returned the rental car and -7 when I got home to Denver. That’s a ∆T of 85 deg F. Humans were not made for this.

    Naw, it's bull$hit
The longest tim of snow cover is like 63 days and that was in the 1980's.

I remember a week of over minus 0 in the 1988/1989 time frame (and a low of minus 24, that sticks in my head)

Just a bunch of blondes whining.

Whenever I start to think its cold here, I check the weather where my grandparents live.

    • On average, the warmest month is July.
The highest recorded temperature was 103°F in 1976.
January is the average coolest month.
The lowest recorded temperature was -53°F in 1996.
The maximum average precipitation occurs in June.
