    If it was 10K gold plated, rhinestone encrusted, and used a purple feather boa for a sling I could see $1000 trade value . . . but he didn't even bother to chrome plate that shotty.

    So that would make it a Norinco, which retails for 200 and does not eject the spent shells. That is the most expensive Norinco SXS ever.
