Default Anyone else get annihilated by the hail?

That storm last night was like nothing I've seen before, sheets of hail here in SW Denver/Lakewood/Littleton area for a straight hour. Every single plant is devoid of all leaves and flowers and it took out my fairly large vegetable gardens that WE JUST PLANTED THIS WEEKEND dammit! I still have a ton of hail left over (another new thing I haven't seen this late in the year), I could actually shovel my driveway!

I know, I just KNOW, it's my carbon footprint that caused this (sports car, diesel truck, gas guzzling SUV's and all the gunpowder I have discharged over the years) - so I'm sorry for the weather . Sending a check to Al Gore now...

Got hit pretty hard between Conifer and Evergreen but sounds like you got worse in the city. Quite a light show for sure!

Hailed at my house, not nearly as hard as it did by the office.
    Hail is still here too...

^^This. i live in hilldale, so i can overlook the city from my bedroon window. Havent seen a light show like that in a long time. We got lots of hail and rain, but appears the city got the brunt of it. I bet the insurance brokers didnt sleep a bit last night.

On the upside, we got a whole bunch of water last night! Hey, how do you embed images, my only option is if they are hosted elsewhere...

Arapahoe and Clinton, Such a mess, I guess they can have their own guys drown, but not the CLP guys. They sent us home. A couple of trenches I saw, still were 3/4 full of hail.

I've never seen lightening like that in Denver. It was a strike every second or so for hours right above my house. Going outside I felt like I was a rock star and there were 200 photographers taking my picture

Chambers and Hampden. Was quite the show. Recorded some of the 11:30 show on my phone, will have to see how it came out. Went to bed, the storm circled back around and woke me up at 1:30 with another thrashing.

Big storm in Colo. Springs as well. I am high on the west side and just watched it slam the city. Got nothing at our house.
