    That storm must have missed my happy little hilltop in Lakewood... I heard some hail hitting the window but it stopped after about a minute. Cool light show with the lightning.
    I think I live in a microcosm where these so called "hail storms" don't occur...?

    Mine looked about the same. Looks like someone dumped a truckload of rock salt on my yard.

    My deck was covered in hail and the driveway in front of my apartment was completely covered in hail except for the stream of water running through the middle.

    That was one of the most intense storms I've ever been in.

    285 & Wads and we got it pretty good around midnight. Stripped most of the paint off the railing on my deck. There's still hail in the grass out back too which is unusual.

    Normally I will curse the HOA till the day I die but the fact they have to pay for any exterior damage to the house makes up for the bullcrap we put up with.

    Last night my 2 year old son and I were looking out the window and talking about the lighting and thunder.. he was looking pretty scared so I wanted to show him it was alright.

    me: you scared buddy?

    son: yeah (looking pretty upset)

    me: what are you scared of son?

    son:............sharks....

    LOL....
