    Default K2 firearms update!

The range is re-opening Sept. 1st. I have no idea what is going on or if it will still be ran by the range nazi's. I guess when it opens I will stop by since I drive by it everyday and see what the scoop is.

I am optimistic it will be ran by people with a clue but time will tell.

Thanks for the update, HunterCO. I was wondering what was up with that place. Please do keep us updated!

I think they do, but if I remember it's limited to .22s. Don't quote me on that, though.

K2's new place can handle up to .50BMG and 100yds.

They had changed that last time I was down there and would no longer allow .50 BMG.

Damn, I guess I'm SOL with my .50 now. Should still be able to shoot common hunting rifle rounds though, I would think.

When I was there last year or whenever, I shot .223 on both the rifle range, and the pistol range, and told that .308 was ok. No telling what the new management will do, of course.
