true, but it's just one piece though right. Replacing a terracotta pot isn't that expensive

I've been tempted to build my own as well but havent made the time.

whatever that guy did doesn't look like it'll take too much time..but still i agree time is sensitive

The "bullet" type smokers are only $50 or so. $75 for electric.

I don't see how making one would be that much cheaper unless you are looking to go all out on something fancy. My POS half rusted out electric unit has served me well for years.

I know it's electric, but It is nice just to set the temp and not have to worry about it. It smokes just as well as a traditional smoker.
