Hanging Lake Hike (pic's)

So this last weekend was my B-day so me and the boy headed up to Glenwood Springs. We went to the hot springs, ate dinner and stayed at the Ramada Inn. The next day we went to Hanging Lake, it was about 1-1/2 mile hike at 1020' above the base. It is a steep climb but not as bad as the incline in the Springs. We started at 1:30 in the heat of the day, the trail was shaded a lot but still HOT...

We got to the top and we were burning up , signs at the bottom say; No Swimming.... What signs? The boy goes 1st in I go second, he goes in twice I go in once.... Save the negative remarks about why I shouldn't have, I already know! Blah blah blah.....

Anyway we had a good time, if you have never been it is well worth it!
