    Default Springfield XDS

Saw, held and sold the first XDS to come in yesterday. Very flat, reminded me of the Walther PPS. Spongy trigger, well-finished. FYI

Crap. Been waiting for one to hit. Where was this? I'm thinking this is the perfect compliment to my shield.

It was at the Firing Line in Aurora. I work there. It will need some kind of slightly extended magazine baseplate to interest me. The trigger doesn't hold a candle to my Shield.

That's good to know as I find the trigger on my shield acceptable but nothing like the SRT trigger on my Sig (different gun, different application. I know)

The grip looks like it needed an extension based on that video above. The shield with the extension is perfect, but the one without messes with my grip.

I agree in general with what you say. Naturally a striker gun trigger is not going to have much in common with a hammer gun- especially the excellent SRT Sig trigger. They shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence, as they are completely different. If you continue to shoot the Shield, the trigger will smooth out, just as on the M&P.
