Never even thought of this. makes me curious thinking of it though cause I carry my IFAK everywhere. It secures right to my camelback.

I never thought of carrying a first aid kit on my person before. I always have an extensive medical kit in the car, but after seing these smaller kits, It might make sense to start carrying one when I won't be near the car. Wonder what a prosecutor would say if a concealed carrier shot an attacker, and then saved their life... hmmm...

I have a brief case that I carry to work. I have absolutely no need for a brief case, and people probably make fun of me, but it has all kinds of things that I use often like eye drops, tooth brush, aspirin, eye glasses, contact case and cleaner, chapstick, can opener, etc. People know to ask me for eye drops because they know I have them.

it eliminated the madman with a gun accusations in the guys case I talked to.

my bil works with a guy who carried an ifak and slapped a cat on a car wreck victim saving his life. turned out to be a state senators spouse. he has a very glowing letter of recommendation that got him his new job.

Better than to have it and not need it than vice versa.

I usually carry a mountainsmith "tour" lumbar pack with me. It's kind of my man purse. I have 4 kids under 5 so having toys, snacks, diapers, and all the other crap I usually have with me is nice. It doesn't scream tactical at all and it stores quite a bit. I know it's not exactly what you're looking for, but i'm just throwing out my setup in case it catches your fancy.

How about this carrier from Voodoo?

Same concept as the USGI IFAK. I like how the carrier comes out of the pouch and is on a lanyard.
